About Us

The Woodside Press Ltd. was established in 1964 by Alfred Trohear Leach, an ex-policeman whose hobby was producing letterpress printed stationery for friends and relatives. In 1985 The Woodside Press Ltd. was taken over by Andy Kybert, who moved the business from Hotwells to its current Southville premises (in central Bristol) four years later. Since taking over the business Andy has built up a team of highly skilled staff with in-depth knowledge of a wide range of print processes. From their cumulative trade experience Woodside’s staff are able to offer their customers expert advice and quality service. All of Woodside’s staff are friendly and approachable and hold customer care and attention as their core values. Quotations are free and can be amended if the customer’s needs change while the job is being completed. Our Services

Here at The Woodside Press Ltd. we work closely with our customers from start to finish. Each stage of the print process is closely monitored by our staff and we work to ensure that the end result is high in quality and at the lowest possible cost. Digital Printing

Woodside Press are experts in digital printing, producing high quality cost-effective results in line with tight deadlines. Our digital printing technology is continuously being updated, and now encompasses an impressive Konica-Minolta colour digital section. Litho Printing

Woodside Press have more than 40 years experience of litho printing and can promise consistent and high quality results. We can undertake all types of commercial printing, from the simplest business cards to quality colour magazines. All products can be printing up to SRA2 sheet size and with our in-house digital ink mixing system we can guarantee an exact match with a customer’s existing job. Business Forms and Multi-Part Sets

Here at Woodside Press we produce business forms and multi-part sets to suit every customer's requirements. We can produce multi-part NCR sets, pads and books with a wide variety of binding, and we offer fully automated collation, padding stitching, offline sequential numbering, creasing and perforating facilities – all in-house. Periodic Journals and Magazines

Woodside Press print monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly magazines and newsletters, from 80-page full colour publications to 4-page black and white publications in A4 or A5 format. Our attention to detail and guaranteed high quality results means that our list of titles is always expanding. We are very flexible and are willing to negotiate both short- and long-term contracts, and will do our best to meet their deadlines even when late additions and amendments have been made. We are also able to able to address envelopes digitally, insert magazines and liaise with postal services for dispatch. Print Management

Here at Woodside Press Ltd. we offer a full print management system for clients with a regular usage and repeat item requirement. We work closely with our customers and once ongoing stock levels have been agreed we print and hold stocks for you to request via phone. We then make regular deliveries to your site - daily, weekly or monthly. Many of our customers have come to rely on us as the ultimate provider of 'JIT' printing supplies. Thermography

The Woodside Press Ltd. specialise not only in standard printing services but also thermography (raised plastic ink image printing) and other lesser known trade services, including litho film imagesetting on ECRM and Agfa imagesetters. We are one of only a few Bristol printers with the equipment and expertise to produce thermography, and our litho film imagesetting films are usually run ‘same-day’ for collection.
